Posterheroes International Contest about Social and Environmental Issues

Submissions are now open for the Posterheroes contest that calls for posters (70×100 cm) about social and environmental issues.
Every year, Posterheroes invites students, professional designers, and everyone who is into graphic design to create a poster about topics of social interest. All the works are judged by a selection panel composed of some of the most relevant graphic design and visual communication experts that choses 40 winning posters.
Funding Information
- The international jury will anonymously judge the posters uploaded on the official website, decreeing the forty (40) winners of the Competition. There is no ranking among the 40 winners.
- If among the 40 posters there are two or more by the same author, Plug Cultural Association will exclude the artwork with the lowest score by including the first eligible work excluded from the forty (40) winners. Plug Cultural Association will be the judge in case of equal merits in evaluating the international jury.
- The international jury will select the forty (40) competition winners.
- Favini, in collaboration with the Associazione Culturale Plug, will select twelve (12) posters among the forty (40) winners to realise the Contest Calendar 2025.
- Favini will select the Favini mention’s winning artwork for a value of €2500 (two thousand five hundred) among the forty (40) posters selected by the jury.
- Fondazione Time2 will select the Time2 mention’s winning artwork for a value of €1500 (one thousand five hundred) among the forty (40) posters selected by the jury.
- The 40 winner posters will be published on the Posterheroes website
- The organisers have the right not to give the cash prize in case they do not find a worthy project.
- Each of the twelve (12) authors of the posters selected for the realisation of the 2025 Calendar will receive a copy of it. The Calendar is designed by the Associazione Culturale Plug and realised by Favini Company. The Calendar will be sent by ordinary mail. Associazione Culturale Plug and Favini decline any responsibility for deliveries to remote locations and logistical difficulties beyond their control. In case these issues are known prior to shipment, an alternative delivery address will be requested.
Eligibility Criteria
- The Contest is open to all except the Organizers, members of the Cultural Association Plug, the jury and their family members, employees of Favini S.r.l. and Fondazione Time2.
