Submissions are now open for the InCube Challenge, an international innovation competition.

It is the first gateway to entrepreneurship for brilliant young minds across the globe. The InCube Challenge is a two-week-long innovation challenge that consists of three parts: PrepCube, OutCube and InCube.

What is it?

• OutCube
  • OutCube is a preparatory retreat in the Swiss Alps in Switzerland. During the week, you will receive training on the fundamental concepts of entrepreneurship, design thinking, and innovation. You will have the opportunity to meet inspiring speakers and participate in personal development workshops. It will also be a chance for you to explore the area, discover the beauty of the location, and get to know your future cube’s teammates through a variety of activities!
• InCube
  • Here is where the competition begins. With your team you will have five days to meet the challenge given by one of the flagship companies, advised by one of the facilitators who will be there to support you. It is five days of intense work to go from a concept to a fully researched and developed pitch on the given challenge.
• Finale
  • Your time to shine! After one week of hard work, you will have the opportunity to get up on stage, pitch your project to a quality jury and why not to win the competition. It will also be an opportunity to meet the other teams, see what they have produced, and to share your experiences.
• PostCube
  • They encourage you to continue developing your project after the competition. That is why you will receive follow-ups and support from your reference company.

• The prize for the winning team is 2500 CHF.
• Every team will receive quality coaching from industry experts and successful entrepreneurs.
• In addition, the winning team will receive help to continue and build their startup.

Eligibility Criteria

• InCube is open to all university students (Bachelor, Master, and PhDs) of all fields of study, or students that do a gap year during their studies.
• OutCube and InCube will happen in the first two weeks of October 2023 in Switzerland. The final event will take place in Zürich, Switzerland on Friday,13.10.2023. PrepCube takes place online in September.
• Apply from any background and any university and they cover all expenses!
• Everyone is welcome to take a look at the cube from the outside. There you can see how the teams are working & progressing. You are also invited to the final event on 13.10.23. The InCube Final Pitches is coupled with the ETH Launch event which will be in the evening. There will be interesting speakers, discussions, and different startup and company stands.
